Oline Cogdille's review today of BOA was a great way to wake up. There's lots of lovely comments: "an absorbing tale . . . a fresh approach to the thriller . . . As a legal thriller, Blood of Angels also soars, illustrating how the law works -- and doesn't -- and exploring the vagaries of courthouse political maneuvering." But my favorite comment was one that probably can't be used in publicity: "The briskly-paced Blood of Angels is augmented by realistic characters whose fervent beliefs shape their actions." That quote means the most because it means the story feels real, which is the ultimate goal for every writer - thriller or otherwise. It's a great challenge, especially for books full of action and intrigue. You can see the full review here.
